Tree workers have at least 15x the fatality rate and 3x the nonfatal rate of other industries.¹

Almost all – 99% – of all fatalities were men, with just over half involving workers 45 years and older.²

The greatest number of fatalities occur in May (12%) and in the Morning (55%).³
