In this role, Saunders will be responsible for managing the underwriting team responsible for paving & road contracting insurance, grading & excavating contracting insurance, as well as a plethora of insurance programs related to plantscaping, HVAC, interior painting, plumbing, electrical work, glass fabrication & installation, sign fabrication & installation, and janitorial services.

Adept at identifying customer needs, developing solutions, and achieving results, Saunders, CPCU, ARM, CRIS, comes on board with more than 25 years of commercial property & casualty experience. She has extensive experience underwriting and managing construction accounts. Saunders prides herself on possessing strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with a persuasive, positive, and confident approach. She earned her undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts – Lowell and her MBA from Suffolk University.
Prior to joining, Saunders served as the VP, Account Executive at Marsh where she managed and serviced a $2.5M book of business across multiple industry segments. Earlier in her career, she served as a Senior Underwriting Manager at Liberty Mutual Insurance for 17 years, where she partnered with the underwriting business in their transformation to becoming an elite underwriting organization.
